Alumni of Campbellsville University

As an alumnus of Campbellsville University, I've become more interested and active as I've gotten older.
When I was at Campbellsville, there were less than 2000 students enrolled, which is small. It has grown tremendously since then, with more than 12k enrolled. The notable alumni list given by search engines show a heavy concentration of politicians and basketball coaches. And then you have us rogues. There are some other alumni with interesting stories, many more than I'll share here.

Wallace Wilkinson

I was pretty young and remember Governor Wilkinson by name, but I was hardly interested in politics. I found out he was an alumnus sometime while I was enrolled.

Wallace Glenn Wilkinson was an American businessman and politician from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. From 1987 to 1991, he served as the state's 57th governor. Wilkinson dropped out of college at the University of Kentucky in 1962 to attend to a book retail business he started.

Rick Stansbury

Coach Stansbury is a somewhat well-known college basketball coach, having held several D1 NCAA positions and been in coaching for several decades.

Richard Lee Stansbury, is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach for the Memphis Tigers men's basketball team. He was most recently the head coach for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball team from 2016 to 2023. He was hired as the WKU head coach on March 28, 2016.

Max Wise

Max and I were at Campbellsville at the same time and I got to know him well. He's a great guy, with a great family, and he still does a lot for the University and the state of Kentucky.

Dallas Robinson

I don't know Dallas but our times at Campbellsville weren't far apart.

Dallas Robinson is an American soldier and bobsledder. Robinson graduated from Oldham County High School in Buckner Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University and Campbellsville University. He is known as a sprinter but was also in the USA Rugby 7's and 15's pool of athletes in 2009 and 2010.
